We were taught to be scared,
To run away, even if unprepared
From the evil and the undead,
That were supposed to be under our beds
We were told to stear clear,
From the areas of the dark
Not peek around here and there,
Stay still, on our marks
We were taught the art of fear,
Presented as the golden rule to survive
Even though our hopes it did tear
And our dissapointed soul still thrives.
We were taugh everything with fate,
From the light to dark
Alas, the masks came off too late,
Who knew that evil could, our hearts mark.
Who knew it would be the woman whom he loved to death,
Who knew it would be the man she cried for on that bed,
Who knew it would be those whom we held so dear, oh faith,
Who knew it'll be far more dangerous than the souls of the dead.
To run away, even if unprepared
From the evil and the undead,
That were supposed to be under our beds
We were told to stear clear,
From the areas of the dark
Not peek around here and there,
Stay still, on our marks
We were taught the art of fear,
Presented as the golden rule to survive
Even though our hopes it did tear
And our dissapointed soul still thrives.
We were taugh everything with fate,
From the light to dark
Alas, the masks came off too late,
Who knew that evil could, our hearts mark.
Who knew it would be the woman whom he loved to death,
Who knew it would be the man she cried for on that bed,
Who knew it would be those whom we held so dear, oh faith,
Who knew it'll be far more dangerous than the souls of the dead.
