Her Tale

Have you ever heard of the story with a twist?
The catastrophic tale of the woman
Who painted a pretty picture,
But with a razor, on her wrist.

Let me tell you how deep she slept,
How her life reeled before her eyes,
How hard her grieving soul, wept,
How her mind approached this path, unwise.

Let me tell you how the smile on her face vanished,
How pain became for her, a friend
How still, for a brighter day, she wished
How little did she know that life was so close to the end.

Let me tell you how she held around her heart, a fence,
how she wept, all day and night,
How her expressions lied even to her own existance,
How hard she tried to hold on and stick to the fight.

Let me tell you how cried, the eyes which once fluterred with dreams,
How they took one last conscious look and leaped into the dark
How the empty and blank horizon, swallowed her into it's open streams,
Thus, forever extinguishing her beloved spark. .
